INVITATION FOR APPLICATION

Application are invited from suitable and qualified candidates for appointment as interns in Federal Medical Centre, Umuahia as follows:

  1. INTERN NURSES:

Qualifications for the post:

  1. B.Sc Nursing Science or its equivalent from a recognized University.
  2. Temporary practicing license from the Nursing and Midwifery council of Nigeria.

Applicants with B.Sc Nursing Science acquired before the year 2017 are not eligible to apply.

Salary: CONHESS 07 Step 01

  • INTERN RADIOGRAPHERS

Qualifications for the post:

  1. B.Sc Radiography or its equivalent from a recognized University.
  2. Professional Registration and practicing license from Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria.

Salary: CONHESS 08 Step 01

  • INTERN MEDICAL LABORATORY SCIENTISTS

Qualifications for the post:

  1. Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (B.MLS) obtained from a recognized University.
  2. Evidence of Registration and provisional license from Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria.

Salary: CONHESS 08 Step 01

  • INTERN PHARMACISTS

Qualifications for the post:

  1. Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharmacy) degree obtained from a recognized University.
  2. Evidence of Registration with the Pharmacist Registration Board of Nigeria. (PRBN).

Salary: CONHESS 08 Step 01

  • INTERN DIETICIANS

Qualifications for the post:

  1. Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Human Nutrition and Dietetics from a recognized University.
  2. Professional Registration and evidence of NYSC discharge certificate.

Salary: CONHESS 07 Step 01

  • INTERN DENTAL TECHNOLOGISTS

Qualifications for the post:

  1. Bachelor of Technology (B.TECH) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Dental Technology from a recognized University or Polytechnic.
  2. Temporary Registration from Dental Technologist Registration Board of Nigeria (DTRBN).

Salary: CONHESS 07 Step 01

  • INTERN DENTAL THERAPISTS

Qualifications for the post:

  1. Higher National Diploma (HND) in Dental Therapy from a recognized Polytechnic.
  2. Registration from Dental Therapist Registration Board of Nigeria (DTHRBN).

Salary: CONHESS 07 Step 01

  • INTERN PHYSIOTHERAPISTS

Qualifications for the post:

  1. Candidates must possess a degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized University.
  2. Must have registered, with the Medical Rehabilitation Therapist Registration Board of Nigeria.

Salary: CONHESS 08 Step 01

METHOD OF APPLICATION:

Prospective candidates should submit two (2) copies of their applications with photocopies of their credentials, detailed curriculum vitae, birth certificate/statutory declaration of age, evidence of state of origin and three (3) confidential reports from three (3) different referees.

SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION:

All applications should be addressed to the Medical Director, Federal Medical Centre, Umuahia and submitted in the Office of the Head of Administration within the deadline specified.

Please note that any application without appropriate credentials or incomplete requirement will not be accepted.

CLOSING DATE:

Six (6) weeks from the date of this publication i.e 9th March, 2022. Any application not received on or before 9th of March, 2022 will not be shortlisted for interview and will not be interviewed.
